The Grimm family - just the opposite
The Grimm family was photographed late last fall. Can ya feel the warmth?
I occasionally work with Tom, at Boston Store photo studio, so I knew I was in for a fun and relaxed session. Sarah and the kids were wonderful as well!

Pushing Paint
Getting started
Jillian, master blender!
Getting there
Done! Sort of....
My self portrait-still in the works
My friend Lila's master piece
I spent 2 fun filled hours pushing paint with my friend, Jillian, on a Sunday afternoon at Arte (Wauwatosa). I haven't really had instruction on painting before, so the artist leading us was very helpful. At some point I felt a little frustrated, but then chilled out, laughed with others and continued to push paint around! I'm pretty happy with how mine turned out. There are a few areas I'd like to blend in a little more.
Two weeks ago, I was there with my friend, Lila, as background to Fox6now, Wake Up (very early morning!) news segment. Thinking what the heck, painting with a friend, so near my place, why not? Plus, I thought, I'd be another nameless face in the background! Ha! I was, until they came around to interview our table. See clip below, to find out about my inspiration.

Community High Scool
This is from Community High School's open house. Yes, a bit late, but better late then never, as they say. They took my images and designed inspirational posters and this postcard for potential students. I love how they used my images.
This is not my first time shooting for CHS. Whenever they ask me to do a photo shoot with students, I always jump at the chance. As some of you may know, I really enjoy working with students this age.
Community High School's college-ready program starts with outstanding academics that challenge and motivate all students to reach their full potential. As a small, public, charter school, CHS tailors the curriculum for the individual student, preparing students for the 21st century economy. With an empowered and fully-certified teaching staff, Community High School students discover how to participate in the transformation of their world.
CHS students critically and creatively confront a reality filled with social, economic, and political contradictions through discussion, active participation in the community, and a comprehensive and college-preparatory curriculum.

Lucy, Sheba, and Ellen
Sheba
Lucy
Ellen, Lucy, and Sheba
I had met Lucy and Ellen years ago for our first photo shoot back in 2006. Lucy, was and still is a sweet pea. I mean, look at the smile on her face! Sheba came along not too long ago, when Ellen's sister moved out of the country. Sheba lives part time with Ellen and her parents. Sheba, has an abundance of wild energy! Thanks Ellen, for the fun shoot (again). BTW- this was shot the first weekend in December of 2012, when we should have cold and snow! Anywho...
