A mask is an object normally worn on the face, typically for protection, disguise, performance or entertainment.  Or if you're in my art group, W.I.P , and you're the hostess that month, you pick a fun project/theme and say show up with a mask you've made.
Our group meets once a month to talk art, sometimes we make art projects, go over any ideas and/or issues we're having with our creative process. For me the group has supported me, inspired me and become like family to me.

I have no idea really why my mask is so crazy weird, but it makes me laugh looking at it and made others chuckle as well. I had an idea when I started, well, then that happened. Another reason why art/play is so wonderful.

I love how each one is so different. They are all so talented, wise and wonderful friends as well as artists!

Sarah is a fine art metal-smith and also the artist I collaborate with on our PIXessories.
http://www.mannstudio.com/welcome.html. Also makes a lot of her daughter's clothing and some of her own.

Lee is an interior designer and works in mixed-media, painting, and sculpture.

Suzell's a hip minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church West in Brookfield. Hats and mixed media are her thing.

Nancy is newly retired and is a gal on the go! She plays with paint, also loves interior design.

Nan is also newly retired and another gal on the town! Graphic designer, painter, and  likes to draw.

Stef is a busy gal juggling photo shoots and scouting for TV commercials. Loves to play with mixed media and photography(duh).
