True-to-life moments are revealed every time Stephanie gets behind her camera. As the owner of Stephanie Bartz Photography, she’s equal parts detective, dot-connector, and storyteller.
One woman. One Camera. Endless Possibilities.
Here are a few behind the scene photos of a TV commercial I recently worked on. I scouted the country roads and homes for this job. We ended up in Mequon and Milwaukee for the shoot. It was a perfect fall day. Paul Bodi, the guy on top of the truck, is a specialist in camera rigging, and this was one crazy rig while driving!
This is Grant ( a mere 2 months old) and Erin's first official photo shoot. I baby talked Grant for a good 2.5 hours to get sweet and sometimes not so happy shots.
Um Yum! Shot this for Jackie Valent, owner of Fast Foodie, which serves global cuisines wrapped in flour tortillas. The six dishes, are recipes from family & friends. The dishes are as unique as the Globaco they are named after. I tested "The Big Sexy" "Hahny Hahny" and the Belgian frites, so far. Loved them! Jackie will be launching her Globaco foodie truck in Milwaukee, sometime in September. You can Facebook Fast Foodie to get more information on the tasty delights. More questions? You should check out Magnolia & Co. the next time you're in the village of Wauwatosa. http://magnoliaandcompany.com. When you see this friendly and energetic lady, Kerry ( the owner), tell her I sent ya! This was shot for her new website.
Photography has always been about connection. The kinetic energy between the people and the camera that captures authentic moments and reveals stories.
I love creating and capturing real moments with my subjects. Over the years I have honed an ability to set up situations that allow for candid moments. I offer the sensibilities of a lifestyle portrait with the magic of truth.
