Ho Ho HO

I know, I know it's well pass Christmas. I just couldn't wait another 11 months to show you this ginormous Santa! What I wonder is where do you get such a beast and then where do you store it? And WOW kinda neat! OK this just in from a reliable source, my friend K.lee. She used to live near this house. And said they have been putting this big guy up for at least the last 20-25 years. It originally stood in front of the "Cookie Cookie" house at the old Capitol Court Shopping Mall. That is where Santa used to visit with the children.

Oh Henry!

Hard to tell but Henry was ripping 'round the yard just minutes before and after this photo. Sit. Stay. Good dog! Shot for Fetch magazine.

The Griswalds would be jealous!

WOW! So MANY questions come to mind when you see a place like this. Like when did you start your Santas, Mrs. Clauses , bears, angels, mouses, gingerbread men, snowmen, chorus singers, penguins, lollipops, elves and one alien collection? How much is it worth? Do you secretly plug into your neighbors outlets at night? Are you still collecting? I really really truly LOVE that people are this wacky. The bonus- they had a HIGH Voltage sign posted on the fence. Ha ha what a hoot! House is located in Bloomington, IL. HAPPY HOLIDAZE!

I met Therese at Bender Park(Oak Creek) which is along Lake Michigan. The sky was a beautiful mix of clouds and blues when we started, but quickly changed to pure darkness. It was a race against light. We lost. A week later I came to her house and photographed the gang inside.
Archie(cat) funny enough is the alpha dog. Essie is a shy girl ( black) while Sam (tan) was happy go lucky. They are greyhounds that were race dogs. Speaking of which, at the end of December 500 greyhounds will need to find a home. Otherwise, they'll be placed on other tracks in the country. Check out http://www.greyhoundpets.org/
