This is part of a traveling exhibit titled "Homeless Is Not My Name".
This exhibit aims to personalize the issue, dispel stereotypes, inspire involvement, and educate on the reality of homelessness in Milwaukee.
Created through a partnership between Everest College, FUEL Milwaukee, Community Advocates, Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, Redline Milwaukee, and volunteer photographers.
St. Ben's is where I was given the opportunity to tell part of the story. I know this subject can be depressing to talk about but, but after meeting these folks they gave me a sense of hope.
I just heard it's moving to Marquette. Stay tuned.
If you'd like to exhibit this work or knwo of others places, let me know! Thanks!
