 I've been invited to be in an art show  "In Your Face." I thought, I best get going on my self portraits this past weekend,  since the show's in June!  I  started to monkey around  with one of these images. Time flew by while creating my art piece.  I LOVE how art works that way. 
Also, it's good to get in front of the camera, from time to time, to get a better understanding of how my subjects feel.

It's such an honor to be asked to be in a show of talented and diverse group of artists.

One of our last snow falls, my good friend Kris, her sweet dog, Gunther,and I went to the lake front to play. Gunther is a big ball of silly and sweetness!

Quiet Beauty

There is something so magical and beautiful about fog, in my eyes. Maybe it's the calm that it evokes in me? What does it evoke for you?

Simone, family and PicDoodles

James/daddy breaks it down about Simone's doodles. "That's the Bart Simpson in me ( about his hair). The little square in the upper left is her tiny little scrap of blanket she carries everywhere with her. It's called 'Little Blankie'. It came from her larger blankie. One day it gave birth to a small piece. The drawing in the upper right is an ipad. She likes to play video games. The little ladybug looking creature drawing on the top is her jumbo ladybug pillow pet she sleeps and watches tv with."

Here's the latest PicDoodle! What is that, you ask? Your kid's doodles + my portrait of them = PicDoodle. I love the insight to Simone's drawings.
Simone, is one heck of a little artist and sweet pea!  I heard she loves the camera as well. Oh no, that's not good for me! ;)
 
Her dad, James Steeno, is amazingly talented illustrator and graphic artist who runs the gallery with his wonderful wife, Heidi.
