Milwaukee Pet Nanny

I met Rachel, the co-owner of Milwaukee Pet Nanny, a few years back, during a charity event. Being a lover of dogs, I thought it might be fun to follow along on a "normal" visit. Dooley, was her client that beautiful, sunny, spring morning, and in my neck of the woods.

Sometimes the owners want a 1/2 an hour visit, others an hour stay, which can include, walks, playtime, and treats or a feeding. They also provide over night stays. Rachel had just been with Dooley for a 2 week stay( that's a lot of walks & treats!).

After looking at their website, I told Rachel how impressed I was that her staff, besides loving dogs, are educated about dog behavior and spending time volunteering.

Need a sitter or walker? They cover Bayyview, East Side, Downtown Milwaukee, Waukesha, New Berlin, Oak Creek, Franklin, North Shore, and Wauwatosa areas.

The many faces of Milwaukee Artist Resource Network

This was shot for MARN's artist community, to use as they see fit. I had a great time photographing all the talent and learning more about these artists. Need a business or personal head shot, let's talk!

Pictured; Peter Carter, Kasia Drake-Hames, Evelyn Terry, Alice Wilson, Suzanne Carter, Kim Ballou, Janice Irish, Carolyn Snow, Thea Kovak, Mark Lawson, Jenny Steinman-Heyden, Dan Kirchen.

The Milwaukee Artist Resource Network (MARN) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit art-service organization that provides professional development tools to the creative class. MARN was founded in 2000 after the Wisconsin Arts Board in partnership with the Milwaukee Arts Board convinced the Urban Artist's Initiative to assess the needs of local artists

Are you an artist? Wanna commission an artist? Or just support one? Or wanna know more about MARN? Click here. http://www.artsinmilwaukee.org/about/

Amelia, Ben, and Molly = sweet & silly

I had photographed Amelia(4) 2 years ago at one of my photo booth style shoots. She was and is a a little pumpkin. Ben(2), the inquisitive one, was on his way at the time. Then came along sweet lil Molly(baby). They just adore their little sister. We had a blast singing and being silly, and by the end we were all tuckered out. That's the way a good shoot should go. :)

Bobby & Gus, staff of The Pet Outpost

I met these two fine pugs, Bobby & Gus while checking out the new pet supply shop, The Pet Outpost, Shorewood.

The business specializes in biologically appropriate food for your Dog or Cat.

Sherri, their mom and owner, is friendly, upbeat, and fun to talk to. Plus, she works with some local dog and cat food brands as well, and carries eco- friendly toys.

These photos were shot at their home on their one day off.

Making a difference

This is my wonderful friend Sydney. She's a member of the youth leadership council for the Girls Scouts of SE Wisconsin. Sydney, collected 764 books, which will be donated to the Safe Babies Healthy Families center. 764 books!!!!! WOW! Way to go Syd!

I asked Syd, how that makes her feel. She replied " It feels amazing, because before they did not have that many books/things to do, but now after this book drive they will have hundreds to choose from. And every so often they will switch the books out and put new books in the shelves."
