True-to-life moments are revealed every time Stephanie gets behind her camera. As the owner of Stephanie Bartz Photography, she’s equal parts detective, dot-connector, and storyteller.
One woman. One Camera. Endless Possibilities.
Jack, is 16 months old and beaming with energy & joy! I had first photographed Jack, back when he was 3 months old. He still has the same sweetness only now he can really move!
I met Stinky years ago for a Fetch Magazine article about his book "Stinky the Bulldog" written by Jackie Valent (his wonderful owner) . In “Stinky the Bulldog”, he learns the true meaning of a friend. Buy it here http://www.amazon.com/Stinky-Bulldog-Jackie-Valent/dp/1420826972 . Fast forward 5 years later and I'm commissioned to do another shoot with Stinky. Stinky is a joyful, sweet pup!
Rented a cabin, in Lodi Wi. on Lake Wisconsin, for my birthday ( 2 weekends ago, but still celebrating!). It was the perfect lil cabin right on the lake. Some days we kayaked morning & night. So calming & beautiful (miss it!). Baraboo and Devil's Lake State Park were nearby. Again perfect. We had the chance to stop in and walk around the grounds of Dr. Forevetron http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/2239 . Some wacky and wonderful large upcycled sculptures. Had a great family & friends birthday gathering on Saturday, despite the down pour! Thanks to all for making it memorable!
Photography has always been about connection. The kinetic energy between the people and the camera that captures authentic moments and reveals stories.
I love creating and capturing real moments with my subjects. Over the years I have honed an ability to set up situations that allow for candid moments. I offer the sensibilities of a lifestyle portrait with the magic of truth.
